2022 Mahzor Levl Shalem

The Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’nai Israel is updating the prayer book we use for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur to Mahzor Lev Shalem. (“Lev Shalem” means “a full heart.”)

Mahzor Lev Shalem offers a range of benefits, including:

· An easy-to-read complete Hebrew and English text with an additional at-home Kiddush section. (See sample page here.)
· All prayers are translated and many are shown in transliteration.
· The English text is gender inclusive.
· Additional commentaries and explanations are included in the margins throughout the Mahzor.
· There are additional prayers and self-reflections that can be incorporated into the service or read privately.

We hope you will consider donating copies of Mahzor Lev Shalem to FLJC/CBI as we strive to offer a rich and meaningful High Holiday experience for all our congregants. (Donated copies will include a bookplate with a personal message from the donor.)
